Press "OK", and insert it on the drawing when your asked If you want place the block on the current drawing. (make sure you add text where its required)Ĩ.Fill in the Naming Scheme for the component, so it links to the database properly.ĩ. Add you Tags, Wire connections and other Required Attributtes. Center the Block in the Block editor Enviroment (if its not properly in line with its first wire connection)ĥ. Start the "Symbol Builder" command select the Block name from the Drop down (Or Browse to it, if its not in the same project)ģ. Save the geometry as a block ( without the naming scheme).Ģ. Truthfully you should be using the following process to get good symbols all the time:ġ. If you are authoring your own symbol, or editing a previously made one, use the "Done" command in the Symbol builder tab.(when your finished creating the component) Simple Solution, Don't use the block close command, it only trriggers the "Done" 50% of the time.
